This was a piece of scrap clay I had left over so I had a play using stamps and dry brushing with Duncun EZ Strokes. It has been fired to set the colours and is now awaiting a glaze firing.

I am now stamping into clay. These are the first projects to come out of the kiln. Tommorow I am firing some handmade tiles and plaques that have also been stamped, will post some pictures if all goes well. This is a sample for a new handbuilding course that will be launched very soon!

I held a series of childrens handbuilding workshops during the summer and Christmas holidays in my studio which were extremely popular, lets face it kids love playing around with clay and more importantly getting messy!! Once their piece is fired to bisque they can return the following week to decorate it!
