The more I use my Gelli printing plate the more I learn and love it, believe me when I say I have had quite a few go straight to the bin in the past but that's part and parcel of the learning process.
I have been designing some stencils and masks over the past few months and printing with the Gelli plate has taught me lots about that also.
First up is this print called "A Day on the Beach" incorporating one of my new designs, more to come on the new releases in a later post.
And before you all think I am going soft in my old age, they can be used on the darker side!!!
MWA-HAHA :)

ReplyDeleteIt's about time we saw your Gelli prints Kathy ?
DeleteGreat stencils and projects. Your "gelli" work is terrific. Adore the boy and girl but the "peace" is my fav--reminds me of rockin out in the late 60s and 70s! :)
ReplyDeleteNow you are showing your age Gabby! LOL
DeleteOh man, that last one immediately recalled the lyrics to Grapevine by Death Cab for Cutie. Evocative. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite bloggers! Need those stencils now. lol
ReplyDeleteThank you Eddie :)

DeleteLove the maniacal laughter...almost like the real thing!! Can't wait for these to be available. Sneak peaks at the Smap Attic, next week, perhaps??
ReplyDeleteErmmmmmmm...... Possibly :)
DeleteI keep looking at these gelli plates and can't decide whether to buy or not. Love what you're doing with them though Andy.
ReplyDeleteWhat I will say is if you go ahead and get one, do not give up... it has lots to do with colour choice and not over complicating the printing Lorraine.
DeleteStunning examples! Like your kind of humour ... *hehe*
ReplyDeleteI'm just beginning to experiment with the Gelli Plate, but I fear I can detect some kind of ... erm ... should I call it 'addiction'?
Suzanne
ohh it's very addictive Grainne, I keep putting the plate away but every day it re-emerges!
DeleteLove your work and your stencils. Just wish it was easier to get the supplies needed for your workshops, here in the States.
ReplyDeleteOh to have your mind's eye ... and your stencils. We NEED those here over the pond.
