What I maded on Saturday!

Well its been a roller coaster ride the past few days, on Saturday I was demonstrating Decoart products at the Craftbarn and have not stopped since!
The book box below was created using Decoart Traditions and Decoart One Step Crackle Medium along with archival ink and other Decoart Products.
I love the Tando Creative Clock Face from the 3 clocks in 1 pack.

The spine was textured using Decoart Modeling paste.

Tim Holtz Tissue Tape was applied along the page area.

Here are some close ups of the Decoart 2 Step Crackle Medium... Lush!

Demonstrating with me at the Craft Barn was Helen Chilton using Decoart So Soft Fabric Paint and Decoart Ink Effects,  Helen is running a workshop with her techniques on the 24th august at the craft barn, details can be found here: Helen Chilton: Personalised Apron
Check out her blog here A Splash of Colour

Here are some close-ups of the detail!

These are fantastic,  using Kaisercraft Stamps and Decoart So Soft Fabric paints

Ink Effects

This morning I posted on Facebook this sweatshirt that the lovely Lyndsay Mason decorated with her Doo Lally Pip designs using a combination of Decoart Ink Effects and So soft fabric paints.

Last night I put together an image on the computer to transfer onto a T-Shirt, please be sure if attempting this with Ink Effects that your image is mirrored as shown below.

It was printed onto plain copy paper and I painted over the image print with Red and Black Ink Effects and allowed it to dry for 45 minutes

Tutorial Ink Effects

If the item you are transferring contains less than 40% synthetic fibers it needs to be sprayed with the Ink Effects Basecoat pictured below first.

The Image was placed ink side down on the fabric and simply ironed on for approximately 30 - 45 seconds and hey presto...... I Love it!
The ink transferes deep into the fabric rather than sitting on top so you are left with this wonderful soft feel.

Next up is a canvas bag that I stenciled using my Usual Suspects stencil with Decoart So Soft fabric paint..... no heat setting and a soft feel..... Simples!
