Its sooo Inktense

Hi everyone,
I managed to get my hands on a pack of 24 Derwent Inktense pencils at the weekend and today had a chance to play and decided to record it at the same time.
For those of you who have never heard of Inktense, they combine intense colour with a translucent ink like effect. there is more info in the video but this is my first attempt with these and compared to my Derwent Aquatone watercolour sticks, which I also love the Inktense colours are far more vibrant.

Above is the bisque piece from the video, finished with a little distress ink on the edges and script stamped with copper Stazon.

  4. Great depth you have achieved in your colouring Andy, those pencils are fab too !! Great for layering colour because they are transparent !

  6. love the video's, however would like to see them last a bit longer so you can get to see the detail you put in, instead of zipping through at mach 2.
