Pleased as Punch!

It's been a while since I posted so here is what's new.
Below is a Stix 2 canvas I have completed with a kind of steampunk industrial theme, each time I use this canvas I learn something new.

Andy skinner altered art mixed media collage

I am not sure why but I have been a little obsessed researching Punch & Judy of late as I want to do some kind of altered art piece based on it.
I had a little play making a Punch head and mounted it on a small book box.

Not sure where this will lead but hopefully I will get inspiration for this project soon!

Thanks for reading,

Andy

  9. Andy ~
I really like this piece. It's clean and full and busy all at the same time. And Punch and Judy!! Wahoo! When we visited London many years ago, we saw the puppet show in Covent Garden. I was thrilled - it's such a classic! I'll look forward to see what you come up with.

  11. Love the depth you have created on the canvas and there is almost an ethereal feel to it in places. I love the Punch head, it looks amazing. I took photographs of the Punch and Judy stand at Swanage a few years ago.
Thanks for Sunday, I really enjoyed exploring the techniques you showed us, I so want to start experimenting with them but I am in Lanzarote now for a couple of weeks and I've got to wait lol.
