Age Old Arguments

This was a bit of fun using a repurposed canvas LOADS of
Andy's stamps and DecoArt paints and mediums!

Bit of background stamping and masking...
Background canvas coloured with inks and paints, stamped all the way round. Images stamped onto velum with white embossing powder, cut out, glued to background then onto the canvas.......
Spider embossed and embellished, cloth added, gravestones coloured .....
Clear modelling paste to give more texture and interest for the washes of colour to follow......
and it really does dry clear!
Lots of washes of colour. Some dry brushing, more washes,
Words typed, printed, cut out and coloured. The shading added with Cobalt Black......

Close ups of some areas of the canvas
Embellies painted, rust dripped, and you can see the modelling paste better in this pic.....
Gems added to grave stone crosses and for the eyes of the characters, rusty wire used for the lead,
dry brushing on some of the stamping and background texture to bring it forward.....

And all done.....for now! More detail on steps and colours used on my blog.
Thanks for looking. Suz xxx
