Morning Everyone Fiona Here. My post today Features Andy's Fabulous Tagtastic 1 & 2 chipboard kits, Andy's Illusionary Artist and Stampendous stamps and DecoArt products.
I used the large tag from Tagtastic 1 for the main tag base which was covered with DecoArt Decou page paper from the Olde World set with DecoArt Gel Medium then stamped around the edges using Andy's Industrial Rubber stamps from Stampendous.
Next up I used the shaped tag from Tagtastic 2 and gave a base coat of Media fluid acrylic in Raw Umber. Once dry DecoArt chalky finish in Escape was applied with a pallete knife to create texture and stamped with Andy's Textures rubber stamps from Stampendous. Washes were then applied to age and distress further.
The Pieced Heart from tagtastic 2 was given rusty, distressed and decoupage techniques to the individual pieces. Holes were made using a pokey tool so the pieces could be assembled with Rusty Wire. Here's a close up of the detailed pieced together heart.
For the numbers and an offcut piece of grey board that I had cut into a rectangle I applied a base coat of Media fluid acrylic in Titan Buff. I then stamped the word Redemption from Andy's Illusionary Artists Word Up set onto the rectangle. The edges were then distressed and washes applied to both numbers and rectangle to tie in with the main tag. To finish the edges were given a swipe with Burnished Bass Metallic Lustre.
I hope you have enjoyed the project. Thanks for stopping by today.
