Study of a Woman's Head

I have always been drawn to this wonderful image by Leonardo da Vinci which is a Study of a Woman's Head.
I wanted to create the look of worn Fresco on wood and finish it off with Decoart Perfect Crackle.
I have used the Secret Book box for this experiment and am so happy the way it's turned out, although some of it was a very happy mistake… These are always the best techniques!!!

  2. What great colors and finish! I must say, with no disrespect to da Vinci or your love of this study, that is one wonderfully aged and wrinkled face! Hee! :)

  3. Had you not said this was your work, I would have believed it to be a real da Vinci. Do you realise how utterly clever you are....
