Raindrop Background

Here is a different take on Isoclene backgrounds using Adirondack® Alcohol Inks, Americana Acrylic Paint and Isoclene.

DSC_0676
The test tile was first painted with Americana Turquoise Blue. Images were then stamped on with Stazon Black.
Drops of Alcohol Ink in Cranberry and Denim were placed randomly over the surface. Small drops of Gold Alcohol Ink were then placed in the centre of the larger drops.
Finally drops of Isoclene were added to the centre making the gold disperse.
Its a really nice effect that reminds me of raindrops. I am going to use this in some larger projects as soon as a get a few more colours of Adirondack® Alcohol Ink.

  2. Hello Tanya,

First off it's Isoclene and not Isolene.
This blog gets many visits from all over the world so just giving a UK supplier would not help everyone. If anyone were to ask politely I would be more
than happy to give them the supplier that I use but I am not here to try to sell you Isoclene from a particular supplier. There is a thing called Google and also many other search engines you could use, if you input Isoclene into them, not Isolene you may find you get a supplier very quickly. If however that does not work then you could always come back on here and ask nicely and I would be more than happy to give you more information. I do hope this was of help.

    Kindest regards,

    Andy
