Steampunkery Tag by Fiona Randall.

 

Morning all Fiona here with a Steampunk inspired tag.  The base tag was spritzed with Media fluid Acrylics in Paynes Grey and Blue Green Light.

 

Next I created tiles to layer up and give dimension. Some embossed ( highlighted on the raised areas with Metallic lustre in Burnished Brass ) others stamped using Andy's Curiosity stamp set and coloured using the same colour palette as the base

 

Next step Gears and nuts and bolts from Andy's Industrial Elements set were given Andy's rust treatment.

 

Finally a Greyboard Circle was given a basecoat  and washes of media fluid acrylics in Titan Buff, Cobalt Teal Hue and Quin Gold before being stamped with the circle image from Andy's Curiosity stamp set. Media Crackle Glaze was then applied and when dry Media Antiquing cream in Carbon Black was applied and wiped back to reveal the cracks. Mounted onto a larger greyboard circle which had a diecut applied to the edge painted with Media Fluid Acrylic in Blue Green Light and highlighted with Burnished Brass Metallic Lustre to frame and create a focal point.

 

All pieces were then arranged and layered onto the tag base to complete.
