I Could not sleep last night so ended up having my first go at a mixed media collage thingy and have to admit, really enjoyed doing this.
It kind of gave me sense of freedom to experiment, I think now I may delve into art journaling for the very same reasons.
The Colour was built up using thin layers of acrylic glazes, colours used were Decoart Traditions in transparent yellow iron oxide, quinadridone burnt orange , sap green and phthalo blue.
This is incredibly beautiful Andy. The colours are stunning. It's amazing what can be achieved in the middle of the night isn't it!ReplyDelete
That looks great.....could easily have been done in a journal:)ReplyDelete
Very cool! I love that you can see all the different layers; something I'm still struggling with.ReplyDelete
