Rusty Snowflakes.

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. Fiona here with a seasonal tag tutorial with a rusty twist.

To start I die cut a Tag from Tando Creative Greyboard and then ran through an embossing folder to add background texture. I then applied a coat of DecoArt Extreme Sheen in Vintage Brass and when dry applied a coat of DecoArt Vintage Effect Wash in Patina and wiped back with a baby wipe leaving a lovely weathered effect.

I then die cut two snowflakes from Tando Greyboard, embossed and gave one the same treatment as the tag base and the other  Andy's Rust Technique.

The Rust Technique was then applied to the bookplate and the bolt heads from Andy's Industrial Elements set then a coat of DecoArt Ultra Matt Varnish was applied to the rusty snowflake, bolts and bookplate.. All Elements were then arranged on the tag base and the snow sentiment stamped in black archival ink to finish.

Here's a close up of the lovey weathered finish.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I hope you have enjoyed the process.

Merry Christmas Everyone.
