Time to Mend

Hi all!
Here's a project which changed dramatically once I realised I'd completed half of it on the peel off plastic coat of the Bubbalux….instead of the Bubbalux underneath!!!
I used Andy's 'shedded' stencil and black Modeling Paste (both by DecoArt) on this heart from Andy's 'Tagtastic 2' greyboard kit. Then painted with Pyrol Red, edged with Extreem Sheen 24K Gold metallic paint and stuck it to the heart base. Used some blues and the same gold on the clock which came from the Compendium kit....for all Andy's greyboard kits click HERE
The plastic I'd painted by mistake using the Phthalo Blue, Quinacridone Magenta and Dioxazine Purple,  shrank with a heat gun. I then painted another piece of Bubblalux (this time I took off the plastic FIRST!). Die cut feathers, moulded corners and painted the upturned corners and feather edges with the 24k Gold. You can find DecoArt products HERE

Added a little clock charm to the rusty wire....
I also added Interference Paints in green, blue and violet to the feathers and background piece, you can see the green Interference on the left in the pic above.
Hole punches with rusty wire threaded through (find rusty wire HERE) to secure the heart, clock piece, feathers and to make a hook to hang the project from. Some stamping with Stampendous blue enamel and Andy's Tech Truma stamps, bit of black and white mark making (forgot to add the Carbon Black and Titanium white to the product pic!

Added a stamped word 'Broken' to the heart from Andy's 'Word Up' stamp set. You can find all of Andy's stamps HERE. Typed out the other words, cut em out and doodled around them before sticking on.
Here are all the products I used (minus the black and white paint I forgot to put in the pic!).
For a more detailed step by step, with lots more pics, have a look at my blog post HERE.
You can find links to all the products in the descriptions above.
Thanks for looking!
