Toxic Love

"Toxic Love"
In the world of opinion, we open ourselves up to interpretations and as we share our art,  we put it out there for all to see, And our art can become a toxic love. A love we all share and want to be appreciated for the thoughts and creativity that goes into each and every piece.

So as I sat and stared in to the blankness of the empty tag that sat before me, I felt overwhelmed and discouraged, to think this team is filled to the brim with such amazing and creative talent. And then there’s some unknown midwestern Yank. So of course I felt somewhat overwhelmed, thinking that I needed to create in true Andy fashion, and depending on the day for him can be quiet interesting. Then becoming more overwhelmed, I figured I best be getting myself a stiff drink. ha ha that didn’t happen, but I just decided to create for me, my style what ever that is at that particular time. I’m still trying to find it, but just to make it my own, with a little bit of Andy, so that is what I did.

As my normal creative self does, I gather a variety of stuff onto my desk and just start to put things together. Not ever knowing if I will actually use all or any of it or if the piece will end up in the rubbish bin. And trust me sometimes they do. So in my own fashion as I think about what I am going to write about the project and my feelings about the particular project I transformed a plain tag into a "Toxic Love”.

So as we create our art and hope that it is received well and is accepted and appreciated, and no matter if I love it the next might not. Hence the Toxic love that we all continue to create and share for the world to see.

  2. What a cool creation, Heather! And your message is even cooler. This is why I stay *just* a hobby artist...so I can enjoy and have fun and feel its therapy on me. I know it sounds cliche', but Art really is soooooo subjective. <3 xoxoxoxoxo

  3. Oh wow - so glad you wrote what you wrote about this tag Heather. It's SPLENDID. Love the grungy colors and the fabric but them.... in comes the NEON green - WOW - it's PERFECT. It draws the eye but the eye doesn't stay there long because of the INTRIGUE of the rustic elements all around. YOU DID YOU and it's a WOW!!! Xj.
