Warning Signs by Hannah Oxberry

Hi all, Hannah here with my very first post for the Andy Skinner Creative Team 2018. I am so excited to share my projects with you!

"Warning Signs" has been created using DecoArt acrylic paints and Tando Creative elements. The panel has been painted in layers and distressed, the base layers - painted in chalky finish acrylics, have been rubbed back to reveal the different layers underneath.

Andy Skinner stamps from the Toxic and Steampunk collections have been used to give the panel it's warning theme. Over this layer a crackle layer has been introduced and washes then cover this too. Bolts and washers from Tando Creative have been given a rusty finish and used within the design.

The main focal embellishment heart, also from Tando Creative, has been painted in tonal colours. Washed back to give a more grungy look, and finished with rusty wire laced through it.
